Police Hunt Man After Wife, Daughter Found Shot Dead Apr 24th 2012, 06:23 Police are searching for a Washington man whose wife, daughter and pets were found shot to death in their home after a house fire, Q13 FOX reports. Police say 41-year-old Peter Keller is considered a person of interest in the deaths of his wife and daughter, who have not been named publicly. Authorities responded to a fire at the family's home Sunday morning, and found the front door blocked and possible booby traps around the home. Police say it appears the two women were shot and killed, then barricaded inside the home as it burned. A dog and a cat were also found shot to death inside the home. "This is a crime of almost unbelievable evil," King County Sheriff Steve Strachan said Monday according to Q13 FOX. Keller has not been seen since the bodies of his family were found. Authorities found his car abandoned in a public library parking lot Sunday night. Though they urge the public to contact them if they spot Keller, authorities also say the public should not approach Keller, as weapons are missing from his home. Residents should "not do anything that would place them in danger, carry a cell phone ... let us know, so we can follow up, we'd like to know where this person is," Strachan said.
