Police officer fatally shot in Texas Walmart Apr 6th 2012, 16:48 AUSTIN, Texas –  A police officer was fatally shot early Friday at a Texas Walmart.  After being shot, the officer was transported to UMC Brackenridge, where KTBC was told he had died. A suspect linked to the shooting was taken into custody by the Austin Police Department. Exact details of what happened and whether the officer was on- or off-duty were not known.
