Parents Say Debit Charge May Help Find Missing Girl May 21st 2012, 22:22 The parents of missing Missouri girl Lisa Irwin are urging police to re-examine an illegal bank charge they believe could lead to a break in the case. In an exclusive interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, the girl's father, Jeremy Irwin, revealed that a fraudulent charge was made to his debit card about a month after Lisa disappeared. He reported that his bank card was charged $69 by an online company in the U.K. that specializes in legally changing children's names. Lisa was 10 months old when she disappeared from her Kansas City home on Oct. 4, 2011. Jeremy Irwin claims the charge was made to his card on Nov. 6 and that he and his wife were made aware of it in December. In a statement sent to Fox News, the Kansas City Police Department said it is investigating the lead but said it does not believe it will lead to a break in the case. "We have been investigating the debit card lead," Capt. Steve Young of the Kansas City Police Department said. "However, we are not optimistic it will turn into anything more than stolen card numbers at most. Other than that, very few leads, and even fewer promising ones."   The police have said that the Irwins were not cooperative enough in the investigation. The parents, however, maintain their innocence. "We understand that they have a job to do...but it's been almost eight months since we've seen our daughter," the girl's mother, Deborah Bradley, told Fox News. "We want answers and we want Lisa and we're not going away until that happens -- until she comes home." Click to see the interview.
