Missing Twins, Caretaker Found Dead in Alabama
Jun 7th 2012, 10:05

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation (ABI) said Wednesday that authorities had found the bodies of a caretaker and twins reported missing Monday and have developed a person of interest in the triple-homicide.

"On Tuesday, the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department requested the ABI's assistance after the bodies of one adult and two children were discovered on a dirt road off Alabama 21, near Hayneville," the ABI said in a statement obtained by Fox News.

"It has been confirmed that the bodies are those of Jack Mac Girdner, 73, and nine-year-old twins Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett."

The twins and Girdner, from Montgomery, Ala., were last seen Sunday.

Girdner regularly looked after the twins while their mother worked, al.com reported.

ABI agents said Deandra Marquis Lee, a 22-year-old black male, was a person of interest in the case. Lee is considered armed and dangerous.
